Many qualified individuals are prohibited from obtaining high quality theological education due to not having an undergraduate degree or the inflated prices of the modern academic grist mill."
Rev. Todd Murphy
Todd Murphy is the founding church planter and pastor of Sacred Journey Church, Providence, RI. Sacred Journey is a plant of the Christian Reformed Church that is dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel to Providence and Southern New England. It does this through faithfulness to the message of Jesus, leadership development and church multiplication. Todd is a native New Englander, born only about 40 minutes from Providence in the Town of Stoughton. He has his B.A. in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, and is M.A. in Old Testament and Semitic languages from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is also the author of the Pocket Dictionary for the Study of Biblical Hebrew (InterVarsity Press, 2003), has published in the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society, and is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature.
He has also served as a lecturer in Biblical Studies for the Department of Philosophy and Religion at Western Kentucky University. He lives in Providence with his beautiful wife of 17 years (Christine) and his six boys.
